What you got planed for Halloween? What costume is in order? Who will be tricked and who will be treated?

I'm entertaining the notion of going to Edgar Allen Poe's house in Baltimore. I haven't been. Other than that....still sorting it out.

This weekend there are supposed to be actors performing "A Tell-Tale Heart" there :) Unfortunately, I doubt I'll make it out to that though.

Rayvin, we shall be celebrating Beltaine, here in the Southern Hemisphere, as the North celebrates Samhain.

I celebrate Samhain & Halloween separately...

I celebrate Samhain according to age old means... thru prayer & ritual .. where I pay honor, respect & tribute to all my ancestors and those that have passed. I lay out the traditional plate of food, a nice drink, a candle...

For Halloween, I partake in the Americanization of the Holiday in the what is now the traditional manner... costume, handing out candy, taking my youngest trick or treating.

I have explained to my children (and yes.. I admit, anyone who will listen! LOL) the true meaning of the holiday, the meaning behind the activities, why folks dress up, etc...

All in all, we celebrate ALL that this Sabbath was meant to be as well as all that it has become.
