It seems that every time I try and chat with someone I cannot get through. Am I doing something wrong?

I would think maybe its becasue they dont want to chat ... you should try posting for awhile send some emails and go from there

yeah alot of them don't like using the IM,so try posting in the forums and let everyone get to know you then send some emails and if you find someone you connect with,ask her if she wants to use IM.
