Why I'd this site / app so slow? Other apps just cruise along but this reloads everytime. It's so annoying.

Welcome, Donnie1923. What do you mean by "reloads every time?" Also, do you have an iOS device or an Android?

the site is sooooo slow on the normal pc use as well. considerably slow.

there are many other things that i see are not adequate for such a world-wide site with more than 10 mil users. i do not know which topic to put them down to, as there is not a thread search box to find it.

If your using a VPN try dropping it. If your using an onion shut it off, and Im sure its a fair to say that the site is safe as long as you dont start giving your personal info to strangers.

These web tricks to hide your IP are pure crap and are for the paranoid. There is not much any honest Admin will to do with your IP. If anything bouncing IPs only pizzez us off since we have tools that can find most that dont how to set up these programs properly.

If that is not what your doing try dumping your cache before you log on. Maybe switching to a faster Browser like Opera for PC and Opera Mini for your phone. Tight fast browser for a PC on a slow connection or a phone. 4gLTE is still slow to me compared to my Copper.

I totally, agree. I used to find this site reasonably fast myself up until about a month ago, and now is soooo slow... every single page it loads takes ages on my computer. No other site is slow like this, they really need to sort this out...

I don't believe the problem lies with this site because I don't have any problems with things loading fast.

Yes, I quite agree with you Donnie. This site is UNBELIEVABLY slow. Whenever I change a page, I have to wait a minute or so to get a message that says Unresponsive Site. Have to go through a couple of these just to get the next page active!!! It is sooooo slow, \that it actually renders the site unworkable!! Definitely a problem that side, I do not have this problem on ANY other site!

I have been noticing that this site can be slower during the evening hours when there are so many members online. I have found that ads are also making the site slower, and I have found one thing that does make things run more smoother is when your on early in the mornings like around 1 am to 6 am, but really who wants to be up all night long or get up so early?

I find that searching is the most slowest part of the site, but when I use match everything runs a little more faster. But I do wonder if they're ever going to fix the problem?

One tap and its done. Have to log out then log back in. I might get one tap in or not. Cant get past the first page on search. Its pitiful pathetic.
