Just Pray

The sun is coming up over the horizon,
I look outside at the early morning rising.

A new day has begun and I will pray
I thank God for giving me another day,

I saw the birds fly way up high,
how beautiful they look, across the sky.

He hears the many prayers we say and knows when we can't cope.
He takes our cries for help and fills us with hope.

He wants to mend our broken hearts and take away our sorrow.
He wants to help us smile again and bring joy to our tomorrow.

I pray, thanking God for such wonderful things,
and all the new day brings.

Just talk to God and you will find,
when you tell him what's on your mind

He always listens, always cares,
just pray, he's always there.
