Okay, so here it goes...

I know I'm hardly on here anymore, just trying to live life to the fullest and all that crap. But I've been talking to someone and we've been talking since June. Talked online for months, and been talking on the phone and texting for awhile. At first when we talked I found out that this guy, from this site, that was in love with her and blah blah. So I told her I wasn't too comfortable with a guy in life with her, in a wife way, and she cut off communications with him. So we've been talking and such, and today I found out, thanks to MySpace (ha) that one of her closest friends is also in love with her.

his name on the site is "(her name) + (his name) = life" and he's saying how much he loves her and how they're engaged and so on. This takes me by surprise because I care deeply for this girl. So I confront her about it and she tells me that she isn't involved with him at all and that he did ask her and she said no to him about the engagement....

What would you do if you were me? I've had my heart broken before and I've been trying to stay single for awhile for this purpose and to just have fun...

Uhhh...too weird for me. I would not invest my heart in a person unless I've spent physical time with them. Emails, texting, even phone calls are nice, but a person can still portray themselves however they want if there's distance between the two of you.

I don't know if I have much advice since you know the situation and yourself best. I can only imagine how much this must suck right now. Sorry to hear this, Joshy!

Stay single, Josh. You're just 22. You've got lots of time, live a little before trying to settle down. Of course, if the right one DOES come along....

Just remember, it's better to be alone than to be tied up with someone you don't really want to be with when the right one comes along. And she will, trust me.

I know how you feel because I went through the same thing last year. First of all you are not stupid, and second of all it seems that she likes attention from the guys. I know it stinks and this has been said to you so many times...you are too good for a woman treating you like that

other than that you have to find out
if she is truthful and sincere

well you have already asnwered that yourself by asking the question.... since you asked and she said nothing was going on adn you dont believe her then there is no trust or you arent secure in yourself either way the relationship would never work out

We're getting hitched in 10 days

I don't know.. I've been trying to stay single since I'm only 22, and I love going to clubs and such with friends, but I wouldn't mind going with my gf if I had one.


I want to stay single, but I do deeply care about this woman, I care what she thinks and everything... and I do wanna start looking for someone to settle down with... I want to have kids one day and I want them to have great grandparents to know...


....so yeah, being confused sucks.
