In the mirror once I see
The Devil staring back at me
And his sly, deceitful eyes
Caught my glimpse in grave surprise
"Here I am" he told me flaring
As if I with all my bearing
Have been craving, but not daring
Beseech His Majesty's regards...
As if I was merely frightened
By his dreadful, daring eyes -

Presently he came up closer,
His deadly breath my heart had frozen.
Once again he spoke to me
"The dream is up, I'm here for thee.
I'll take you high and even higher
Where nothing reigns but endless fire,
I'll break the curse, I'll set you free
As only I can ever be ......"
