I think it depends on where in particular you are thinking about moving to, but the world is so global these days that most decent-sized cities shouldn't be a problem. Just beware of people calling you 'exotic'. Man, I hate that! :wink: grumble :tongue:

Hawaii, maybe I'm just a product of where I've lived in my life, but I can't see that being a problem pretty much anywhere. No matter where you go, there's going to be some idiot somewhere who's going to take offense to something, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. If you believe that's best for you and your kids, go for it!

P.S., the east coast's not so bad and if you moved here, we could have some fun! And D.C.'s about as multi-cultural as you can get flowerforyou flowerforyou

We are similar culture - Hawaii, Cook Islands and Tahiti. I am a Cook Islander living in Australia. Never experienced any racial issues for being a polynesian girl.

Don't allow fear stop you from living on the mainland.
