Good choices and yes, they are getting back to their impeccable standards before merge..I have promised my car to grandson when he starts 2nd year of college (only 2 years away) so I am already starting to consider the next, and hopefully last, car purchase...It will have to be a good one because I am planning to live a long life! |

67 & 1/2 Camaro Z-28. 67 1/2????? When the Camaro`s first came out for sale, Chevy sold them as 1967 and 1/2`s. 1970 Chevelle Malibu SS 396. One of the best muscle cars ever. |

67 & 1/2 Camaro Z-28. 67 1/2????? When the Camaro`s first came out for sale, Chevy sold them as 1967 and 1/2`s. True, '67 was the first year for the Camaro, but I'm not sure where you're getting the "1/2" from. The 67's were first shown to the public in June '66 and went on sale Sept 26, '66 (right on time for model year), so there's nothing "1/2" about them. |

I do apologize for my statement.I am man enough to admit that I am wrong about the Chevy Camaro being a 67 and 1/2 model statement. The Z-28 Camaro was brought out on the market halfway through the production year. |

The Z-28 Camaro was brought out on the market halfway through the production year. I've never heard the '67 Z28 called a "1/2" either, but I can see where the term would come from since they didn't go on sale till Jan '67. I guess that's one of those things like how technically there was never a '70 1/2, but the name stuck on those cause they were late coming out. Also, kinda the same with the Mustang. There was actually never a '64 (or '64 1/2 for that matter). But, since they came out in April of '64 Ford called them (early)'65s. It made the one I had a little confusing for people who didn't know any better since mine was built in June '64, titled in '64, but has a VIN saying that it's a '65. |
