some people just have a "dry" sense of humor or some don't even have a sense of humor.

Have you ever been with someone that has to much humor? I have!! He did nothing but act funny all the time...what I found attractive in the beginning soon turned out to annoy the heck out of me in the end!!!

I don't think there is any one speical way to write someone.
Some will respond- some won't.
I guess it really depends on weather we strike a feeling in
someone. JMO

I usually just say hi! Then go from there...

Joe IMO....which isn't worth a lot because I also got no response. For a first email....that is to much info. if they want most of that they can see it on your profile.

Ive always had replies......especially when I show my tongue pic!!!

Well, i won't tell you but i will give you
a clue.

Like everyone I get very few responses, but I do get a few. To me first and foremost is actually "read" their profile! One, so you know if you're actually someone their going to be interested in (I get emails from people who if they just read my profile they'd know they were waisting both our times). And, so that you can ask a quick question that let's them know you read their profile. After that the number one thing to do, make sure *your* profile is complete and has something about you other than just your stats and a pic.
