Merry Christmas to all Minglers, but special thoughts for all who will be alone without family. May 2016 bring you the love you desire.

I'll be home alone for Christmas but I had to plan it that way. The one place I need to be is in bed resting after I finished my chemo round yesterday. Shopping and packing and traveling and cooking would just be too much stress and not most important at the end of the day. I do have a Christmas tree up so that is nice. But that was exhausting to do, even with help. When my kids get home after Christmas were going to my parents for Christmas celebration and do some fishing. My cat and dog are here with me but I can't find my cat. He disappears sometimes but he always comes back. Lol. Happy holidays to everyone. Ho, ho, ho!

Nice thread... My family are all in NZ... But this will be my last Christmas alone... That's no good is there somewhere you can go so you are not alone? Its okay...I'm happy... I don't get lonely... One of the guys has a BBQ Boxing day....

Nice thread... My family are all in NZ... But this will be my last Christmas alone... Funny that. All my famdamily are in Australia. But my two daughters are here and that is what counts.

I am alone here, but my kids live 25mts drive away...and we will have Christmas dinner together, as they work Christmas day...yeah! it sucks...little mercies are better than nothing....

No kids here, & this is the first Christmas without the wife... Feels really weird after all that time together... I do have my sister's place to go to, she & her husband are good people, & she's got a "curtain-climber" that EVERYONE loves, so I won't be alone (strictly speaking). Guess I'll just have to adapt to this in much the same way as I have when people have passed on & aren't there any more...
