| Topic: Anybody w/ACL reconstruction surgery? | |

Keeping this short...I retore my ACL Oct 18th. I had reconstructive surgery Aud 25th of 2006. Wondering if anybody's had a 2nd or 3rd surgery, because I hear its even more painful and recovery is even longer.
I'm in an extremely deep funk because of this. |

Gosh, I'm sorry to hear about the 2nd surgery. Being out of commission when you're usually an active person really sucks! Try not to be down about it. When are you having your surgery? I'll be sending healing thoughts your way...

I'm not sure when I'm having the surgery. I'm trying to get all that set up now. The first time my stupid surgeon went on vacation for 3 weeks so it was about 6 weeks before I had my surgery. With the holidays coming up...well, I'm being aggressive to get stuff done asap.

I had acl surgery in 2001...it sucked so bad then, but heard its not as invasive as before. healing time is suppose to be less.
I definately don't want to go thru it again regardless. The best of luck to you.
