Yes.

Because I don't believe in coincidences or something as marvelous as this life that we have being a mistake or fluke.

It makes sense to believe in God. If you believe in evolution, think of this: What made the big bang? What made the gases? To me, it makes perfect sense that there's a God outside of time and this universe, who made time and this universe.

I've read the Bible cover-to-cover 7 times, and have read hundreds of other books about various religions. In the end, I believe it's all just a way for a few to manipulate the minds, hearts, and wallets of the superstitious and gullible.

Karl Marx: "Religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurrences it cannot understand."

Sigmund Freud: "Religion is comparable to a childhood neurosis."

Nietzsche: "Faith means not wanting to know what is true."

Gods don't kill people. People with Gods kill people.

Nobody knows everything, and probably no one ever will. That doesn't substantiate the existence of any sort of powerful invisible friend, in any way....

Keep in mind that I'm not asking if you believe in the people who stand up on the pulpit and claim to be doing God's work and take our money and trust. Nor am I asking if you believe in the people who have committed unspeakable acts in the name of religion.

God knows everything and everyone. He has and always will be there for me, as well as anyone who asks for his help. He is the only one you can count on.

I believe in God, there is no reason not to, I certainly believe in Hell. I have heard many arguments to say God does not exist but people will argue anything to make a point and unfortunately it's easier to argue there isn't rather than there is. I don't have to believe, I choose to. If there is no God then I haven't lost anything compared to what I would lose otherwise. Those that kill in God's name do so by their word only, the God I was taught to believe in asks mankind to spread love and happiness, not death and destruction.

Oh and I'm not a bible thumper, I usually keep my opinions to myself on religion but since it was asked....
