i agree the view is killer : )
no idea really on the floor plan
but still thought it was a cool looking house
love the way it uses the earth to insulate it
and just the look of it in general
i agree 400 Sq. foot isn't big at all
but its less place to clean : )

It did look familiar to me too...

I have to paint a big mural on the walls underneath the bows on the large terrace from this villa, up in the mountains. Starting next week. Will take me 7 days to finish.

This 'style' of underground has been around for years. It offers great energy efficiency and can be made larger by going modular with the pods.

It has very little maintenance and stays a more or less constant temperature most of the year. You can actually grow crops on the roof.

It is a good idea that never really caught on.
