I'm going to go a little conspiracy theory here...but the 'you should be offended' dictators(media, press, even politics)...programming younger minds that anything 'possibly offensive' is wrong and should be removed...is a great way to start taking away rights, and pass laws that aee unconstitutional.

First, we take away the respect for our founding fathers(calling them racist, rapist.liars..etc)....then start discrediting the work they did...where are their names signed?...those should be removed too..

Eventually there will be no signatures left...and it will shift to why are we following this document(constitution)...it's already proven to be written by rapist, racists, and other 'ignorant' people...in fact just keeping it gives credence to these imbeciles ....then these same idiots wanting the statue removed, will have chidren who will be advocates for destroying the constitution because it's 'old and offensive' and was written by stupid people....just wait
