Just a tip never date your neighbors keep those you date far enough from your house, that when it is over you don't have to look at them every day...

sometimes its very hard to get over... when they might have gotten close to you and thought more of the relationship then you did an did not want to admit it so they felt hurt at the end ... personalty can be really different with different people ... one reason I do not sleep with my male friends
 good luck Op give it awhile for the emotions to settle with them ... might change things ...

Well sometimes it goes bad when I slide.. the check for the dinner .. towards my date... and give her a ..wink wink... and tell her don't get cheap on me now you still have to pay for my taxi ride home......lol

I agree with this also do not date anyone from work it will make it even worse when you both stop dating and everyone knows your business. |

One fundamental to be recognized:
there is no way to know in advance, what you will discover about another person through the process of dating them as a potential mate. The range of important, even critical issues between two people is VASTLY greater in a mate situation than it is in a business or neighbor situation. There are all sorts of things about a person's private life, which don't matter one bit when they are just a coworker. But if they are a mate, they can have issues which cause you to view them so differently as a human being, that you will find that you cannot deal with them in your life in any capacity at all. Even though I put years and lots of intense work into myself, so that I can deal with even a lost mate in a rational and respectful manner, there are still people in the world that I discovered things about, such that I would never want to even see them from a distance again. And there is no way I could have known in advance, that they would turn out to be so toxic to me. I was very fortunate that I didn't have to work with them, or live near them ever again. |
