As far as we remember
Our TeddyBear's been our friend.
With hugs it holds our warmth inside
To ease our pain within.

It never wants to argue
Or even criticize
Trust will never disappear
For it never tells you lies.

As the days turn into years
Into the world we slide.
We search for love and passion
As teddy is set aside.

We meet our one and only
Our forever in a dream.
The flames burn deep within our soul
But nothing is as it would seem.

Along comes lifes confusion
Smoldering embers will remain
As tears the fire extinguish
And love turns into pain.

We wish life were that teddybear
Through all the tears we cried.
Then love could last forever
And loneliness would subside.
