Telling someone, you ask to dance, they had bad breath is as tactless as telling a vulgar joke in mixed company. yea, well... just as easy to tell them... no need to be all PC about it... |

Dancing with a lady who has just enjoyed a fine meal loaded with garlic or such, should a man? #1 Would you like a breath mint? #2 Did you dine at --- the Italian Restaurant. #3 Stay as far away as possible, and return her to her seat ASAP. too many variables to answer - reverse the roles - I'm in a bar with friends, you see me and ask me to dance - its a slow one - you've enjoyed a steak with garlic bread, garlic mashed potatoes... your breath is not minty fresh, maybe even smells like a mix of coffee with a bit of baileys.. should I, ? #1 offer you a mint? #2 Whewww ask what did you have for dinner tonight? #3 Say no if you ask me to dance again. IMHO if things escalate to be closer then hopefully the one you've chosen is conscious enough to be aware of bodily odour (of any kind).. I would also like to be told if I had food in my teeth.. |

I would rather be told because I carry a toothbrush and pick in my bag along with lip gloss and other personals I might need

If I have bad breath or something funny on me or whatever... I wouldn't want to walk around making a fool of myself. In fact last week I was in class and my period started and I didn't have a pad on and didn't even recognize it had started. Somebody told me and I was thankful for that rather than walk around the campus with a bid red spot on my skirt.
