To be a charitable as I can about this old and common mess...

The fact that this particular fellow declared that the OP wasn't suitable for ANY man as a mate, strongly suggests that he's TREMENDOUSLY insecure and unsure of himself. He took a very crude cartoon version of a very old, commonly misunderstood and manipulated, and very subtle idea, and tried to use it as a sort of cudgel to "punish" the OP for failing to cater to him.

The very old idea, is (I believe) based on the concept that a mate that HONORS AND RESPECTS their Significant Other, and shows their love and support by setting aside ego concerns at times, in favor of their mate.

People who don't understand things like honor and respect, confuse those things with subservience.

I tend to like a woman that is a little on the submissive side. But at the same time I don't want a robot or a "Stepford Wife." I've been with women that are very domineering. I'm not the type to be led around by the nose and told what I'm gonna do. So domineering doesn't work for me. I like a woman that is smart. Got a good head on her shoulders. The kind of woman that I can sit down with and talk about whatever the days problem may be.

And work out a resolve between us. It doesn't matter which one of us came up with the right idea. All that matters is the problem of the day got solved. It doesn't have to be either one of us. We are sorta like the Musketeers. "All for one, and one for all." Neither one feels the need to keep the other under there thumb. To me, this is how you keep a happy marriage. When you have a relationship like this, A lot of women don't mind being submissive. Especially where it counts.

I don't like to take charge all the time so having a lady that is totally submissive would drive me insane who ever said that is a moron
