      To recognize that people look different is not wrong; it is just fact.  
 It's only when things are taken further and outward appearences are connected to expected actions, abilities or attitudes that we have created racism. I am a "white" woman. I am blonde. I have green eyes. I am tall. These are facts about my appearence. I chose none of them. They tell you nothing about how I think or feel or how I will behave. They are not predictive of anything other than that I might burn if left out in the sun too long.... If someone assumes that they are, that's where the great wrongness begins.... imo. | |
