That's hard to say because it depends on the person.

But if I had to say I would say men women I know are deep thinkers and analyze the situation. Lol in a way I do feel for the guy but it keeps him on his feet lol.

In my experience men do .. way faster than a woman..
I have had men tell me I am in love you
And hell I am not even sure if I like yet let a lone love...

Wellllll...guess it's time for me to turn in my woman-card.

I don't think the gender matters as much as the person. Some, like me, take longer, and others are already mapping out the future.

From my point of view a lot of the women out there are damaged goods and maybe incapable of loving anybody. At the same time though they expect love and romance from you and not to just be treated as a sex object, when that's basically how they're treating you.

Children fall in love more easily than adults.

Gender doesn't really matter.

The older you get the more proficient you become in not being led by emotions you have experience with.

Other than that people go through the process at different speeds, although each try to constantly communicate where they are at in their hormone levels and bonding through mirroring, which has its own effects on the bonding process trying to make it even out.

I try my best to keep them from falling in love with me... it's just easier that way.. I actually prefer they just think of me as a sex object.. I'm okay with that keeps me in bubblegum and Mars bars

if we are speaking of typical i think women I wonder if people really fall in love with the fantasy to me if you love someone everyday you wake up wanting to make that person happy in whatever way you can

everyone is "damaged goods" in their own way... lots of times, thought projection plays a big hand... i've noticed, as in cheaters especially, that the one that's thinking/wants to cheat usually blaming the partner for it, because that's what is on their mind, not the partners... peoples minds play tricks on themselves without even knowing it... maybe you should examine your own thoughts more closely, to see if your not just projecting your thoughts onto the women you date...

when new emotions are felt,one must remember to think with their big head,.. not their little one.
During a phase of my 35 year marriage, one time (year 26) I fantasized about cheating with a gentleman? who flirted with me... but with so much to lose,I fought those urges and my marriage successfully and happily continued... in that regard, I agree with MMoe.. mind does play tricks on you.

I would like to know what constitutes a lady to be labelled 'damaged goods',my gawd, we all have some baggage.. I think I will ask in a new thread.
