So I was watching the movie Hellions (2015) the other night and the girl puts honey and salt on a pickle. Multiple times.

Since I have sweet and dill pickles in the fridge and a bottle of honey and sea salt I figured I would try it.

Don't Laugh!

The Dill pickle with honey and salt about made me upchuck right away.
The Sweet one with honey and salt wasn't too bad. You may laugh.

About 10 minutes after I ate I felt all queazy and yuckky.

I don't recommend it.

Well, Here's the movie

Be Honest - Ever tried something you saw in a movie? It doesn't have to be food related.

When I was a kid I belonged to a bicycle group.
We worked on our bikes and made choppers, long bikes and tall bikes.
We set up ramps and tried to mimic Evel Knievel jumps.

Well, Being kids having the brain damage that kids have we decided to start jumping each other. So 6 of us layed down side by side at the end of the ramp.

The first jumper got to the top of the hill and powered down the hill and hit the ramp perfectly. He flew well past the #6 guy. So we rounded up two more kids from the block and I took a go at it.
I powered down the hill and flew over all 8. Ened up in the creek but hey, I was the title holder.

So I took my place on the ground. Now you gotta understand, We were jumping StingRays. So the next jumper comes down the hill with his brand new 10-speed. Well, He wasn't too good with it yet and he missed the ramp and flipped into us. We got hurt. Some of us got bloody. Being on the end, I figured I would get the landing tire but as it happened I got nothing.

We didn't do that anymore after that.

Well...
This one time in banned camp...

In the 90s, part of my job required a bit of travel... at destination, the organization I worked for, would often provide me with rental cars.

Let's just say, there was a rented sedan that caught more air time, than the Chitwoods.

Not sure, but if memory serves me...
I think the inspiration was 'Fast and Furious'.

I tried but it didn't have the same result as Hollywood.
I ended up falling over laughing.

It just didn't have that gracefulness.
Oh well it tells a a good story.

laugh laugh laugh I was going to say that this is a Great Thread because of all the across-the-board ideas that peeps have done(or not-done-well  ) and it seems to already be fun to read bigsmile

I think we all have done something simply because a LOT of movies are so parallel to life. Although, I can't really think of anything specific because I've always been a big ole BOK BOK  happy

" I WANT My Two Dollars!"

In this movie they are all sitting at the table eating corn on the cob.

The father (I think it was the father) takes a piece of bread and gobbs a bunch of butter on it. He then takes the buttered bread and wraps it around his ear of corn and slathers the melting butter all over the cob.

Well, I tried it and IT WORKS! It works so good its how I now always butter my corn now.

Found the whole movie on Youtube while looking for a clip of the buttered bread
Its pretty good quality and the entire movie
