well to me i dont have to meet the person to be faithful to them
ie = dating
or happy with that person and not looking for others , making plans , etc etc etc
its more a mental date then the physical aspects of it
and people change a little when you date them rather then just chatting with them etc etc etc just like a lot of people change when you marry them

I always wonder what constitutes a date? us it a meet and greet with a stranger?
is it going out to dinner with someone you like?
is it dinner and a movie with your significant other?
if it's a meet and greet, it was June 3rd. we were invited to dinner at the home of mutual friends. easy company chatting amongst us withhis son and our friends kids also having fun.
if it's dinner with someone you like, that would be june 4th. we hit it of and he invited me out to dinner.
if it was dinner and a movie, that was last weekend.
we have ups and downs like anyone else but so far it's working out

Does taking my girlfriend of 4 years to Wal-Mart and then going home to have lunch count as a date? I s'pose not...

The last time we had a genuine date was Labor Day weekend when we went to The Metropolitan Museum Of Art and saw the "China Through The Looking Glass" temporary exhibit. It went well. Happy ending and all.

1. Their Current Relationships With Their Exes

they are there x's , dont make a diff to me

***PS. Important to me. If they are a doormat for the Ex and jump every time she snaps her fingers I am not going to put up with that. Nor am I going to put up with the "lovey dovey" an Ex is a sex freebie past of present. But if there are children involved I want him to be responsible just like I expected that from my Ex weather I got it or not. ***

2. Their (Short-Term) Plans For The Future

plans change

*** PS True plans change but I like to have a general life plan and know what journey I am agreeing to if it gets beyond casual one time date. People who fail to have a direction are poorly prepared to accomplish much fo anything but survival. Not exactly how I want to live. ***

3. Their Day-To-Day Schedule

norm learn that from chatting with them

***PS. This is a good way to have a general idea how a person is. I am sorry In an online chat I find out someone works 60-80 hours a week their pattern is not going to jive with mine. ***

4. Their Stance On The Things That Matter To You

aye

***PS. I can see on a few of the big stuff but all too often if it starts sounding like a contractual agreement or an interrogation and I figure the person is a control freak. ***

5. Their Criminal Record

i dont norm judge people from there past mistakes
and the only different from a criminal record and not is that they didnt get caught lol

***PS Well it depends a lot about what kind of 'criminal " record they have. Driving too fast when you are sixteen or you are taking your kid to the ER is a whole different thing than someone driving drunk into a crowed restaurant or felony assault. Or a sex offender record. To name a few crimes I really don't care if they did only once because once is certainly enough for me to move on to someone who didn't get caught and hopefully didn't period. Especially since past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior.

6. Their Physical Activity Level

yup should be close to your own goals

***PS. At least be compatible. I have always attracted military and often athletes and I am definitely not and athlete. I would not go to a Gym if you paid me. But a good manager I can hold down a family while a military spouse is deployed and not every guy goes to the gym to pick up women. ***

7. Their Relationship With Their Family

there could be many ways why this would or would not come in to play

*** I tend to agree because many people are taken from their family and get dumped out of the system as teenagers and still manage to survive quite well. But if you can know a little about the family history you can often see a lot of patterns and often the apple does not fall far from the tree. Some health issues have a genetic factor and are inner-generational problems.

8. How They Treat People In The Service Industry

odd thought but i go by how they treat people in gen not jsut service industry

*** This is a often a very good way to find out how a person is going to treat you when the new wears off. If they treat them like they are invisible or beneath them or are demanding or complaining you can bet your future is dismal. But I also agree how they treat people in general. If they are completely enamored with power or fame that would make me nervous too because that is usually the type that thinks the grass is greener and if you don't want to be cheeted on I would recommend avoid ing people who have that family history.

It went pretty well. I live by the ocean so I met her and we took a walk along the beach and had a few drinks and something to eat at a ocean front cafe, nothing fancy just good food and conversation.
