I'm only looking to date locally. I'm not bothered about writing all about myself for people on other planets to decide if I might be "the one". I've got enough pictures for them to decide if they like the look of me and a short list of interests if they want to say, "Hey, we might have something in common."

As far as the forums go, the women that I want to date don't read them and as my forum persona is a fictional character from a video game I don't know if a woman's really going to be interested in dating me based on the nonsensical drivel that I post on the internet when I'm bored. Saying that. My previous profile text was nonsensical drivel that I posted on the internet when I was bored and I still got dates with it.

Definitely for me. I think for most of us that are forum users what a person puts in a profile may or may not be true at all. Yet if they are a consistent forum user you get a picture of who they are overall.


I still believe though that our profiles are a form of free advertisement for most people.

I getcha on the profile part. I guess Im trying to say that, especially to those looking for a relationship, users should use all tools a site offers...and there is a majority of users who dont utilize the forums. Thats true on all dating sites, not just this one.

could be many reasons
maybe they dont think that putting that they are a grave digger would attract the right people

or that they work with the dead would freak a lot of people out

or like someone else said they are worried about gold diggers (both males and females)

or dont work at all and live off money that was given to them from someones death

the list is endless really

or they dont have a lot to talk about so that would give them something to talk about
