Sounds like another group I hear a lot about... true, but it's different situation compared to all other sovereign nations, as he is the leader of the Catholic church, which encompasses people from just about every nation on earth... and their doctrines don't empower his land, it empowers the Catholics as a whole, all 1.8 billion of them... kind of unique, wouldn't you say? |

i don't get how they can just change the word of god because it suits their needs... and people wonder why i'm an atheist...  Just started reading the thread and saw this...... If they can change our Constitution and bill of rights to fit their agenda then religion and the bible is an easy reach |

i don't get how they can just change the word of god because it suits their needs... and people wonder why i'm an atheist... Just started reading the thread and saw this...... If they can change our Constitution and bill of rights to fit their agenda then religion and the bible is an easy reach Catholicism in particular is responsible for the most changes made to the holy bible and it happened before the Magna Carta was written. It happened in Turkey, but it was a Roman emperor who was the political driving force behind the change. Many believe leaving Rome, the true home of the empire who crucified our Lord (via Pontius Pilate) and many other Christians in and around the City was his way for atoning for the murders of so many who died for their religious beliefs. Turning his back on Rome, in the long run for the empire it spelled its doom. |

I was married both times to Catholic and neither of them followed the true teachings of the church, especially when it came to using birth control. So people do or twist what they need to do what they want to do.
All presidents have their good and bad, I just don't know why American's no longer honor the role of the president. Was Obama hunting down and killing Bin Laden bad then? Bush didn't get it done. Obama pushed through ObamaCare and allowed me to keep my kids on my insurance long after others would have had them un-insured (or me paying for another policy, just for them). So it it really bad to allow your kid to be on your policy until they turn 26, instead of the age of 19 to what it was before? It doesn't really cost the insurance companies, because they are the less likely to use it and I had to pay my company extra for them anyway. Just not as much as if they had to go get their own polices, which they couldn't afford. So back to the Catholic church, we had a gay girls gym teacher fired in Columbus, from a Catholic school, because they found out she had a female partner. The joke was really, she taught for years in the Catholic schools as a girls gym teacher, looked like the male version of the relationship and just now the Catholic schools decided to fire her? Worked out for her, now she can marry her partner here in Ohio, since the US Supreme Court struck down Ohio's marriage law, and live happily ever after. |

Obama pushed through Well Im sure the millions with raised premiums and deductables....like me, say "You're welcome" ObamaCare and allowed me to keep my kids on my insurance long after others would have had them un-insured ( So it it really bad to allow Wtf are ADULTS STILL living with parents at 26? FORWARD! your kid to be on your policy until they turn 26, I chuckle when Obamacare is touted as a success. It was an overhaul to a healthcare system that just needed a few tweaks....like changing the engine on a car with a flat tire....and now we need an overhaul of Obamacare. As far as the op...Obama is just trolling the Pope...got a gay teacher, transsexual activist, and a pro abortion nun to greet him when he lands. Nice troll but I just dont know how "presidential" it is. As far as the Catholic Church...Im always amazed at the mainstream media fawning all over its leader, the Pope. Not so much for any other Christian leaders....they tend to get trolled like Obama is trolling the Pope. j |
