POEM FOR THE FORLORN (original piece)
Had you inquired, you would have known.
Had you known, you would've stayed.
Had you stayed you would've witnessed my depth.
Had you witnessed my depth, you would've delved deeper for more.
But you would never find a bottom, for my soul is infinite.
And yet.....the opportunity lies for my soul to be explored by you.
Because if you only scratch the surface, you will never be sure of how deep this soul can go.
So do you float above, with the others?
Or do you plumb my soul's depths and witness it's wonders?

True. But I have faith that sometimes those rare, few people with a sense of curiosity and adventure will throw aside their inhibition and dive.
And dive.
And dive.
And personally, I love that they have that, because I'm the same.
If the vibe is compatible enough with a certain lady, the possibilities are literally endless.
It takes time, though, and a certain amount of patience to build that.
These days...I'm kind of recognizing that more and more, and I want to spend time not obsessing about other people, and focusing more on myself and becoming the type of person that is able to entice, ensnare, build my own "mystique" if you will...and maybe it'll leave them wanting more.
Or maybe it wont.
Risk is part of all things. Especially matters of the heart.
