Is our body language flashing
mirrors at each other? Are you trying to bedazzle me? To give me reason to put my eyes in the shade of my upraised arm? Are you trying to make my heart gush torrents of blood As an act of betrayal? Cruelty played upon the strings - knitted loosely together - that form the patina of my emotions? Or is that just me? All on my own-some smiling from someplace deep within Whilst refusing to be type-cast? Do you hear the rain beat its tropical tattoo on the galvanized rooftops along tin-pan alley?
