The most sang and recorded (and perhaps performed) latin american song ever until now is; BESAME MUCHO (Consuelo Velazquez/ Mexico). It was recorded and performed even by The Beatles. This song was selected as The Song of the Century in December 1999 in a Latin American Music Award.
