Cited from the Urban dictionairy Class means a person who is poised, graceful or mature, or excudes any of these mannerisms in dress, language and everyday life. Posseses excellent self control, is gentle soothing and unoffensive. Ladies, would you date a man like this? Men, would you date a woman like this? What is your preference? I think there are two important aspects of maturity, first the ability to understand reality quickly and accurately, and secondly the ability to use that understanding to act responsibly regardless of the circumstances. Becoming mature is a process of trail and error (experience) along the way. example: you can't become a mature driver if you never drove a car, so that's it....observation, prediction, action, self-evaluation, learning, that process is what leads us to maturity. And so much more. It's a short explanation that applies to both men and women depending on the circumstances. They need to be quintessential gentlemen, dapper in dress, polite in conduct, kind and one that gives a meaning to the word "family" Yes. how they treat women, their mothers, people and family is a reflection of class.

As I've aged, well past my 20s, my long term relationships are with classy women. By long term, I mean, at least more than a year.

Yes, they remained that way. I choose them very carefully. Lol What would be your definition of not classy? I have read in your posts that one of your partners was abusive and most were emotionally unavailable to you. That is not classy. I do not mean to get personal with you, but which is true? I asked a simple question. Why are you getting personal? the tune from Jeopardy is playing

Men, would you date a woman like this? Sure, if I was attracted to her. What is your preference? Attraction. Based on the number of profiles where I read something like: "comfortable snuggling and watching a movie, or attending a ball, comfortable dressing up or down, jeans to cocktail dress" pretty much everyone believes they have "class" and probably believes they know how to spot it. You don't really find out if someone has class or not until after you actually date them for a while. So...my preference is to date someone I am attracted to. Maybe they have "class" maybe they don't maybe they put on a facade maybe they can put it on like a suit and wear it when necessary.

think very few can remain classy at end of a relationship especially when it gets heated and there are arguments involved But the ones that are really a Classic Gentlemen are the ones when the heat of breaking up is over can come and be that awesome person that you remember. Even if you both know that your time under the sun is over. I have an EX that I adore him I mean I really do. He knows I respect him, and yet during the break up neither one of us was as classy as I would have wanted us to be. Now after time apart, yeah I care for him and would we get back together no way. We both understand we bring the worst our in each other but we make awesome friends.. I think to me that is when class is shown
