rather than wonder what their trick is look at what positive qualities they possess.

I agree that beauty is only skin deep and fades with time but attitude does not seem to change.

If you are socially backward, bitter, or just a pain to be around that rarely changes over time with cosmetic surgery, weight loss/gain, improved financial situation.

Can people choose to change their own "bad" habits? Yes if they really want to. Takes a lot of effort but it is possible. I have seen people with little or no training learn to be quite nice people.

The thing is often a little success motivates further improvements and successes. Why I recommend people who are struggling with dating to take some social skills classes or just read some tutorials, or watch some U-Tube videos so you feel more at home with social situations.

Time and again people complain on line how they never get any play on their profiles but refuse any instruction on what has proved to work. And it is NOT about being anything but yourself.
