Is he tall, handsome, muscular...is she slim with long legs and drop dead gorgeous. Or are you looking for the person inside; the sole of the person. Weather or not they care about something besides themselves, do they have a loving heart, do they enjoy the sounds of nature, will they be there for you when life comes crashing down around you, or show up later when you have cleaned up all the pieces. Do they do things for you or give you things for no reason at all other than the fact that if makes you happy. Take your time and really think about who you are looking for. Your only here for a short time why spend it in sorrow.

Looks do not matter, I am looking at whats in a persons heart, not the outward appearance. A person can be drop dead gorgeous and have a bad attitude and be the ugliest person in the world. Or a person can be homely looking and have a good heart and be the most gorgeous person on earth. I do not care what he owns or how much money he has. That does not buy happiness, as long as he can make me laugh, feel good about myself, has a caring, compassionate, loving heart, he is a gem.

Your absolutely right. I have meet many people over the years that were handsome or beautiful.. which ever the case might be and inside they were the ugliest person you'd ever want to meet. Many years ago I thought this to a pretty young woman that let looks influence her dating habits and she always ended up getting hurt. One she started looking for the person inside she found a good man and she married him, and to this day he sees her as being more precious than gold.

Honestly, I would enjoy to kiss someone I like physically and that is the first step, but at the end of the day if that person is only looks then there is nothing left , and everything disappears....there is a quotes that goes like this: "Hasta la Belleza cansa" which means...You get tired just by contemplating beauty.

I think for me looks has always been the last thing I have looked for in a man. Right along with what is in his bank account. So when I was looking I was looking for someone that had integrity, honour, respect, someone I knew would be worth of my trust. Who would when I felt like the world beat me up would hold me close and reassure me til I was strong enough to go back out there and fight again the battles I needed.


For someone that would never expect me to have all the answer nor think he would have to .
I could make this an endless list of the qualities I was looking for and yet I have blessed to have found those things and more in my guy.. I have more than I ever could have asked for.

I think on the surface some may say they are looking for that God or Goddess but deep down they want the same things we all want to be loved and accepted for what they are.

This is true. Beauty isn't everything...if I can't sit down and have an nice conversation with her or go for a slow walk in the park holding hands then why am I with her. We have to enjoy doing most of the same things or it wont work.
