I also think that what a lot of us look at, is actually ourselves. We look at how we are reacting to the other person, and try to figure out why, so that we don't draw the wrong conclusions and either reject or accept them for the wrong reasons.

Well I don't know about that. For I can meet someone and be very relaxed when Im talking to them, Then at times if I meet some one I really like, someone I think is very good looking, intelligent, etc. etc, I can become very quiet and not know what to day. Or actually might say something stupid then think to myself....why dd I say that. Lol I think Ive grown out of it but It could happen again.

I think when I meet "anyone" for the first time. It is the whole package, their mannerisms, and attitudes about themselves and others. Then I guess I check out What they are wearing, hairstyles, and oh Lord yes the shoes if it is a woman.. Man if they have a nice but... you check out their packages? 
Of course I check out packages..I also am a butt girl I like looking at a man's back side what can I say... Also I may be taken but I will look for the rest of my life ..eye candy is eye candy |

I never thought about that. Lol But I guess you guys (and woman) deal with a lot of that. I haven't met many people off line. I ll have to keep that in mind because I am very much a honest person and give everyone the benefit of the doubt that they are to.
