Yes he does for me. Because if he is shorter then me most likely he is littler then me. Im 5 feet 7 inches tall 137 pounds. I want to be the smaller one so I like tall me 6 feet is perfect.

even though im only 5 foot 2, I like taller men. my ex was about 6 foot.

I feel the man is a protector and I feel safe with a tall man, I wouldn't feel protected by a short man.

Im more attracted to taller men as well.

But that's just me.

Back in the day when I was working security one of the worst fights I ever saw was between a man that was, I would say was around 5'4. Couldn't have been more than 145 pounds. The other guy, about 6ft 6. And I would say close to 300 pounds. The little guy, for lack of a better term, was beating the bigger guy to an inch of his life for saying something rude and nasty to his girlfriend. And then having the balls to shove the littler guys girlfriend down on the ground.

By the time I got there, two other security officers were already there. The little guy had almost killed the big guy with his bare hands. I never saw in my life one man take such a beating. Especially from a smaller guy.

It made me realize that this old saying is true, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog that matters.

Before I retired, I saw this several more times. Just not as bad.

So I respectfully disagree with you. It's a faults perception to believe that a bigger man can keep you safe. I'm sure in some cases a larger man can. But in my experience, It doesn't always work that way.

I'm 5'10. 240 lbs. I've had to break up a few fights when I worked security. In my 15 years of being in security, some of the hardest people I ever saw were smaller than me. Some of the hardest to peel off of another man were smaller than me. Some of the hardest I ever had to hold onto were smaller than me.

The second worst fight I ever a part of, Was between a 5 ft tall girl that just barely weighed 100 pounds. And a 6ft 8 mountain of a young man. The girl almost beat him to death with her feet. And to top it all off, Before she finished, she crushed his balls.

Some of these little folks can mess you up.

I kinda like a man around my own height. I am not a frilly girl, don't do all those spike hills. Hard enough to stand on solid ground tan trying to stand on a spike. I am 5 foot 3 inches, so I would says a man about 5 ft 8 or 5 ft 9 would be ok....

so there you go short guys.. the general consensus ... your screwed.. just filter in that >5 key and your chances will be much better ;)

I would prefer my partner to be taller than me.... that's a personal choice and no disrespect to not so tall guys
