LOOK: Twin typhoons Ineng, Atsani seen from space ABS-CBNNEWS.COM,08/19/2015 8:23 PM Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui has taken photos of twin typhoons Ineng (international name Goni) and Atsani from the International Space Station (ISS). "Typhoon 'ATSANI' is getting stronger and approaching to Japan.. I always worry about people on the earth," Yui said on Twitter. "Typhoon GONI is also getting bigger and stronger. Too many typhoons these days," he added. State weather bureau PAGASA has raised storm warning signals in the Philippines because of Ineng. Ineng is expected to pack maximum one-minute sustained winds of more than 212 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of 259 kph by Thursday, the Hawaii-based Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) said. The typhoon, however, is not expected to make landfall over the Philippines. The JTWC has also raised Atsani's status into a super typhoon, with maximum one-minute sustained winds of more than 259 kph and gusts of almost 315 kph. Atsani will be called Jenny if it enters the Philippine area of responsibility. However, it is also not expected to make landfall in the Philippines.
