i have never felt posting was a popularity thing and i do get ignored sometimes when ppl are communicating back and forth--i just move on. just like being in a room full of people--the more you talk the more poeple know who you are. if you stand in the corner no one will notice you---well unless you look like some of the people on here

I don't know if the favorites is like other sites because I haven't favored anyone. I haven't added anyone as a friend yet because that sort of seems like and endorsement and I would think you would want to have emailed back and forth a while before you did that. It might just be a more casual way of saying your interested? Posts can be what ever you want make it I think. Maybe a bit blog. some conversation, some just moral support or conversation. Depends on the topic. Some are thought provoking others just funny. You are right though some do get a little snotty one up's manship at times.

Oh ok, I found it! I'm on 2 lists....one of whom doesn't log in here anymore, and one who comes and goes lol. I think I need some more dependable friends on my lists jking!

Well I'd take it as a compliment if someone added me as one of their favorites: Heck I might even consider dropping them a line to say Hi.

Maybe they're just too shy to say something and they'd rather just be able to find you incase they do get the courage up.
