i need to know what a Duplexer??? anyone know what it is, and is it any good?

Depends on what kind of duplexer you are talking about. If it is a radio one then that is a device that combines two or more signals onto a common channel or medium to increase its transmission efficiency. Or, you can also get a duplexer as an add on for printers that allow you to be able to print on both sides of the paper.

Not necessarely called a Duplexer, but Muxers and Demuxers are used in video/audio seperation and for combining.

Otherwise the only other term that I know of where Duplexer or Multiplexer is used is what whispertoascream aready pointed out.

If you give us a little more info we could be more specific.
