Today they start bringing Colton out of a coma. We are all very nervous. That is good news. please let us know how he is.

Today they start bringing Colton out of a coma. We are all very nervous. That is good news. please let us know how he is. Apparently they take away the meds that keep him in a coma but then he comes out of it in his own time. Could be a day or weeks. So the waiting game again.

Ruth, for some reason...i had a thought pass by... Please look at what music therapy can do for brain injured and coma patients. COLTON IS AWAKE!!!!! He can open his eyes and he recognized his dad and sisters!!! He can't talk but he tried to give them a thumbs up! This is the best news in more than two weeks and I'm so happy i can't stop crying!!!!

I know I don't post much these days and many of you probably don't me, but I'm asking anyone and everyone who will to please offer a prayer or positive energy for my stepson. He was in a very bad motorcycle accident yesterday morning and is in the ICU with multiple injuries including a swelling of the brain. He could wake up with no brain damage or a lot of brain damage. There is no way to know right now. Please pray that he wakes up with no brain damage. Thank you. Ruth You and You stepson will be in my prayers. God Bless

Just read your thread. I set my forum setting for only a few topics and missed this struggle. So happy he is finding his way back to you. The thumbs up he gave brought tears of joy. I'm certain he is in there climbing one mountain after another to find his grassy plain. He won't give up. The body does heal itself at slumber-- so you take a lesson and get the sleep you need. Wishing you strength to face your fears and overcome them. Be well, Ruth and get better!
