Both yesterday and today, I have not been able to send or recieve any IMs. My IM isn't disabled, either - I double-checked my settings. Someone 1000 miles away told me they had been having the same problem all evening (we weren't trying to IM each other, but we are now, to no avail).
Can anyone help? Is anyone else experiencing this? The Pete-Man |

I don't try to IM .. but haven't received any today, and I usually do get a few

It works sometime. But if you try to IM somebody, they claim that they don't see it coming. If someone is trying to IM you, you should receive an incoming pop up screen asking for your permission to either accept or decline. It also has to do with the speed of your internet connection because it has to render a bit and this can slow things down.

These last 2 days, I've had two prolonged instaces where someone was trying to connect with me by the IM, and it wouldn't connect. I tried to connect with them also, to no avail. And yet, I had no trouble IMing with someone 3 different times this past Monday night. Also, I apparently am not the only one having this trouble.
