I feel pretty young right now, thanks to some younger gals on mingle.  AS I AGE, I REALIZE (besides likely having sent this before): 1. I talk to myself, because sometimes I need expert advice. 2. Sometimes I roll my eyes out loud. 3. I don't need anger management. I need people to stop pissing me off. 4. My people skills are just fine. It's my tolerance of idiots that needs work. 5. The biggest lie I tell myself is "I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it." 6. When I was a child I thought nap time was punishment. Now it's like a mini vacation. 7. The day the world runs out of wine is just too terrible to think about. 8. Even duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound! 9. Wouldn't it be great if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes; come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller. 10. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would've put them on my knees. 11. When the kids text me "plz" which is shorter than please. I text back "no" which is shorter than "yes". 12. At my age "Getting lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came in there for. Nice to be old enough to know why all of the above is soooooooo funny. Nice to ne young enough there is hope, however small, that all of them don't apply. (((NORCAL))) |

Lol, you are right.
But he meant more about my life: living in my own country till my 16 where our family was well respected and had everything, running away to other country as a refugee during the war with my mom, with only two suitcases, losing everything, living almost like a begger when everybody looked at us as we were nothing - that taught me that material things are really nothing, today you have it, tomorrow you don�t and the only things that truly remain are what you have in your heart soul and mind, coming to another country where I had hard time to get through all obstacles as a foreigner for many years, not mentioning my relationships that were influenced by that too... And not mentioning my experiences from local dating sites before I came here  lol. One of the main things why I came here was that slight hope that out there somewhere men are possibly a little different. No, it wouldn�t be a book, at least three bestsellers
