TRIPE is th stuff from th inside of animals at a meat prosessing plant does not matter what kind of kritter. but th insides(GUTS and LEFTOVERS)that are not sent to a butcher,,,swept up to make tripe used most for dog food or cat food but can also be consummed by humans too...look on th back of a can of viennas some times...ewwwwwweeee! worse than,,,I wont say you throw up... |

most hot dogs aren't made that way anymore but if you get dome homemade
sausage it is...they grind up the meet and then pack it into some intestine for a casing |

thripe is the outside skin of a hotdog, or a polish sausage, or a summer
sausage.... those at the production plants always have a "pretty" name for it, but i worked at a slaughter house, and saw what goes in the barrels for the other company to come pick up... i don't bother with hotdogs anymore, and sausages always get peeled now |
