withdrawing life support can simply mean stopping treatment, medication etc, which is a lot more frequent than turning off a life support machine. (like you see in the movies) Someone that has sensitive conscience cant do it. The very though that the patient will soon die as a result of "withdrawing medication" implies you helped him to die. I cant do that job for a million dollars! continuing invasive painful treatment when there's no hope to me is inflicting MORE suffering on someone and has a sensitive soul myself with a conscience I couldn't do that. jmo

What? You're quoting the wrong nurse for that, doc!!! Lol!. Who is the "Doc" and who is the "wrong nurse"?
