Hi everyone. I would like ask you what do you think about friendship between man and woman? For example man about 50 in relationship who make friend with 22 years old, beautiful, inteligent girl and want meeting her socially?

I would like ask you what do you think about friendship between man and woman? I think it's a bad idea. But it depends on what you mean by "friendship." If you mean "we hang out alone together all the time! Constantly! We go out and get drunk and party! We sit together and watch movies and talk and braid each others hair before putting on our negligee's and have tickle fights!" then it's a bad idea. If you mean "When we find ourselves at parties we talk to each other. Once or twice a month we meet at a restaurant for dinner, sometimes double dating with whom we are seeing, I post to their facebook and they to mine." Then I don't think it matters. For example man about 50 in relationship who make friend with 22 years old, beautiful, inteligent girl and want meeting her socially? 50 year old men can be mentors to 22 year old women, not friends, IMO. |

I tend to agree with this ^^... But i know of some exceptions. Not many...a few. |

Seems like it would get more and more boring for both due to the huge age gap. There would be less mutual interests and things you'd have in common.

The first thing that went through my head is that your hub or significant other is talking to a 22 yo online or something of that nature. Not that this is hugely our business, I am sure Im not the only one that thought that...is this why you ask?????? If so, just take it easy probably won't happen and if it does it will most likely not last, but ya never know. You can define or come up with some reason for it, still won't change anything. Probably should not make a huge deal about it and handle it accordingly. |
