When you meet someone for love, does their christian name play a part in your search?
I think at some point, yes, …for example, I dated a David who have similar characteristics as other David’s I met. They are hard workers and a solid family man yet prone to depression as their low. I know that doesn’t say much about the overall person, just something I notice about them. No, it doesn’t have to be anything negative either. I dated a Ken, and I liked calling him Kenneth instead. Ken names reminds me of Barbie and Ken or an old fuddy-duddy person hahaha. I liked a Christopher in high school, he was a walking tart haha, met another later in life, he was hot alright and thinks he's just it too lol Met a couple of Fred or Fredrick’s, they love their motorcycles and loves feeling free. I know 5 Michelle from past circle of friends, nearly all of them are alike, for example, they are self-absorbed. My name is Mary. I met other women with the same name and they are mostly educators of some sort. My niece is my namesake too, we both cross paths with a James and a David and they are alike in nature. Have you noticed anything like this too? PLEASE don’t think I am trashing people’s names, just my observation about people’s christian names and how alike they are. |

I seem to get ladies with the first initial? Does that count? None were alike. Don't think I have dated someone with the same first name though.

I've gotten to the point where I find myself avoiding Kate's or Jen's or variations of those names. Kates tend to say Hi try their best to do overhauls of me and then disappear. Jens tend to cling a little too much don't get me wrong I like affection but least the Jenifers I come across tend to notr pay attention to shal we say "decorum" in public. Just something I've noticed.

Does any one know a Lyric?
I have went out with him a few times. I think it would be a lovely name for a girl but a guy? |
|

My ex's name is Teresa; The girlfriend I met after that was named Theresa and one of the nurses I work for has the same name. Now to me the name is like a black cat crossing in front of you on the road. One neat thing about them all having the same first name though is if you slip up when you are sleeping or having sex. Just kidding.

wow -- that's a tough one; but i'll give it a shot.
I've dated two Georges; one was a real doll; the other Jorge had spilt personalities and we just broke-up recently. I dated one Kevin -- total pyscho (not saying all Kevin's are like this -- just this one. I've dated Michaels -- all sweethearts. My ex-husband was a Robert; again a sweetheart; we took different roads and parted friends Dated a Sal and he was confusing/moody Dated a Gregory: intense, great sense of humor, sexy but had problems with substance abuse (again, not saying all Greg's are like this one. I don't like to label people all in lump somes because of a name; this is just my experience. |

Twitch - my ex is a Gregory, I call him greg when I am happy with him and Gregory when I am mad at him haha.
I told him he is gay after we met, he called me b*tch haha now I call him gay, he just laugh at me. He was addicted to his asthma medication and I was worried about that for a while but he is in better control with that today. I met a Gregory 7years ago on another dating site, as soon as he told me his name, I was no longer interested in him. Though, I noticed both Greg are stayers. My ex and I are great mates today and so as my friend that I never pursue a love relationship with. |
