I wish I had someone to talk to about things. People don't really realize sometimes how lonely it is to be single. Sometimes I just want to talk with someone about life in general, you know, how things are going, and all that. But no one seems to want to listen. And the walls can't talk back. We all need a friend sometimes. And there are times--like right now--that I feel like I don't have a friend in the world.

Times like this, I just try to remember that old saying....

...This too shall pass.

Knoxman, I think we are in the same boat...I feel the same way at times, to where I don't have a friend in the world. I got a rejection just the other from this site as well as a matter of fact. She was in my friends folder and then after we had met, I noticed she had taken herself right off of it. I wrote an email back and saying she could've at least said something in the way of it wouldn't work out, but instead it's like a slam in the face. But, it's something I get used too, I go on, and just sometimes say the heck with life period.

You can't make people to like you or just be your friend but you can tell your friend that anything you share with her/him not to share with anyone else. If you are jealous about your friend, maybe you need to find something to do to busy yourself or find another friend.

You can't make someone like you, if they don't want to talk to you, then find someone else that enjoys your company. I am sure there are plenty of people that would enjoy spending time with you on the phone or whatever.
People are strange so don't get offended. You can't please everyone in life...so just be happy with yourself.
