Looking for the big picture here, not sure what the problem is:

Too many bad people running nations badly (or driving them into anarchy)?

Too many people?


There are many 'causes', like war, poverty and political turmoil, but the primary 'reasons' for the increase during the last decade are globalization and foreign and economic policy...

It would be quite odd if it were all because of only one thing.

Do you think the Arab Spring has had anything to do with it?

Not just Tunisia, but Libya, Egypt, and central Africa?

at the end of 2014 ... 38 million people were forcibly displaced worldwide.

7.6 million in Syria alone.. That accounts for the highest number from one country.
