Telemarketers have your cell number.

I block all incoming calls. Having no friends offline has its benefits.

In business, I've given my cell # out; if I receive an odd number call, I just don't answer it.. they can always leave a voicemail if its important, or I don't recognize the #..

No friends offline? huh That's why I'm so careful not to offend anybody online .or. not. I can't afford to loose any friends. |

I'd give someone my skype contact info but-NOT MY CELL. When meeting new people online; one should cultivate some familiarity before revealing too much personal information too quickly... Personal information??? It's easier to change your cell phone number than it is your underwear. I've got some caves for lease at very reasonable rates. Moss on the walls included for free. Call us at 1-800-HERMITS R US |

I really don't trust just anyone, there are scammers everywhere. I think I'm going to stop wasting time. And they can prove who they are with a picture and holding a newspaper with a date and location. If I'm interested

I don't give out my phone number until we've been chatting for a bit. It makes me uncomfortable. And it's awkward when a guy gives it out on the first message or two and then I have to explain that I'm not comfortable yet. However, it's easy then to weed out the people I want to talk to versus the ones I don't as some men have then gotten upset and called names.

When you give out your cell number generally it's tied to your Facebook. So they can check out some stuff that you are not wanting them to see yet. Even set on private some things can be seen. Also, they can check to see if your a fake profiler, by looking their number up. So there are some advantages and disadvantages. I receive so many fake profiles.

Comon Viper, get real. Maybe you've only got 5 contacts on your phone. And paying for new phone nubers makes sense to you. Some of of us have a whole lot more. And giving out your phone number to every fool from scammer countries, is one bong hit from being out of your mind.

And giving out your phone number to every fool from scammer countries, is one bong hit from being out of your mind. 1. I have about 30 contacts. 2. Switching numbers is free and can be done online. 3. I'm not a member of the tinfoil hat club. 4. It's quite difficult to arrange a first meeting with smoke signals, especially if the wind is wrong. 5. Paranoid people almost never get laid. Oh, and in case you didn't know, most cell phones, have this really nifty feature that allows you to send a text to multiple addresses. And you literally only need to send a text saying "this is my new phone number" to everyone in your address book. Caller ID will do the rest. Let me guess, you never bothered to read the owner's manual for your phone did you? |

Not only no but hell no!!! Not until we chatted on site for a while and then probably only if we were making plans to meet in person.
