Ok this may make me seem silly but how do you send a friend request to someone? Thanks in advance!

Click on their profile. Look for the series of blue bars below their picture. Click on the one for adding them as a friend. Click again when the second screen pops up. They'll have to do the rest.

Ok wait...I tried that but it keeps telling me I already added this person as a friend. It won't let me send a request to her...

It means she's already got the request, you're just waiting for a repsonse.
