Topic: 7 reasons no one burns in Hell for Eternity | |

I disagree . We were created on the 6th day and God created us. Yes it said when we die where are they? The second you die your soul returns to God who created you. After the anti christ comes. Then jesus will come and end it all. Then all the living and dead shall be judged. |

For those who'd bother to look-up a few verses from the Quran.
(Surah 32: 10-14) |

Some people want God to act just like them. They would never make anyone remain in a lake of fire for eternity. So, they insist that God would never do so, either. Too bad for them that Revelation 20:15 is actually a part of the New Testament. Side Note: The word Hell is northern European in origin. It wasn't used by the New Testament writers. Hhhmmm... you are right that human beings always seem to think that God will act like them and do things in the way that best suits their imagination. We always seem to feel better by throwing away what God says and living within our own most suitable imaginations and doctrines! Unfortunately, God is no respecter of persons (Bible). He will do just what HE says HE will do in HIS word - the Bible. Hell is not the grave (where human beings are buried to save living beings the dread of the smell of decomposing corpse). Eternal punishment is real. Jesus was very explicit about this...just as the Bible is. We human beings do the twisting. Below are a few of many verses through which God tells us the truth and warns to flee from the wrath to come: Luke 12:5 "But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!" Luke 16:23 "being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side." Matthew 25:46 "And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." Matthew 22:13 "Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 8:12 ".... In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." |

Revelation 20:1-3 20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. The binding of satan is a future event. It is after Christ returns. Yep, Satan will be bound for a 1000 years there :) as he is now. I reproduce Bible verses below showing that the devil is in this present age very much alive and kicking. The only consolation is that God is much more powerful than the devil and has promised us victory over the devil...if we will remain in the love of Christ and abide by the word of the LORD: 1st Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. |

What purpose would it serve to torture some people after Christ sets up his Kingdom where people are taught to live in a way that brings peace and happiness? Revelation 7:17 for the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of the water of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 21:4 he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” What is there in a man that could be tortured forever? Man is mortal, there is nothing in a man that could live forever. The only chance we have for eternal life is if the spirit of God lives within us. Would God torture his own spirit? |

Really, there's probably no-end to the number of quotes from the Quran on this subject.
(Surah 3: 185) (Surah 4: 56) (Surah 7: 37+38) (Surah 10: 11) (Surah 14: 42+43) (Surah 35: 45) |

For those who'd bother to look-up a verse or two from the Quran. (Surah 35: 36+37) And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one.{35;36} And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper.{35;37} |

Y'all gonna burn in hell Y'all should read your bible. Then Y'all would know what it says. Yes but not everyone here is Christian so why would they read the Bible Do other religions believe in Hell fire? Not sure. Do atheists? Buddhists? Wiccan? no, atheists do not... why should i live my life being scared of burning forever? seems that if there is a god, it would have better things to do than worrying about me, you know, with the entire universe and all... |
