Hmmmm..guess I am just not built that way. Always encouraged my kids to have a point of view on things and it did not necessarily have to echo or coincide with my own . I was more interested in line and logic of their arguement and whether they could back it with facts. I like to see healthy debate. Sometimes as humans we tend to get a bit narrow minded..see things from only our own point view. ..think its good sometimes to take look at it from another perspective To critical thinking!..*clink*... ever feel like you're alone in a wasteland?

When un public forum it is not unusual to offer an opinion or to point out how someone else's arguement. is weak or flawed. This is what debating an issue is problems come when someone's jimmies get rustled or get bee in bonnet and take it personal and insults and attacks occur. i dont have a religion so really my posting there would just get a lot of peoples feathers ruffelled and i am not a fan of drama , so its best i just stay away lol |
