More vitriolic lies/utter school yard bully rumor with nothing for a base but yet again more A$$-SWIPE journalistic BS that has been debunked each and every time it's drug out for 'PROOF' by more gullible - A$$-SWIPE ! Amazing and yet not so shocking when a lie is much easier to push then standing up for the TRUTH! http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2008/jan/17/mccains-pow-record-attacked/ Thursday, May 28th, 2015 McCain's POW record attacked, again By Shawn Zeller on Thursday, January 17th, 2008 at 8:03 p.m. SUMMARY: Once again, Sen. John McCain faces false allegations about his past. This time, a flyer from the Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain alleges he's a traitor. In an echo of the attacks from the 2000 South Carolina primary that dealt a critical blow to Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign, the Arizona Republican is again facing unfounded allegations about his past. You seem bent on nothing more then just destroying a man who served this/his country and did what all prisoners did while being tortured: they made up BS stories and lies to confuse and befuddle their captors because any information garnered them {POW'S} some time...and you - YOU smear his good name like you have FACTS & DATA ON YOUR SIDE! ROTFLMAO soooooo not true and soooo unfounded. Oh, please continue to drag these slanderous links and libelous lies everywhere you trash his good name; it makes your every word look suspect and unreliable! Something reeks here and it's not Sen. McCains WAR RECORD! Grow up and move along...there's gotta be another unfortunate human just waiting to be trashed by the likes of you and your ILK. Somewhere out there! LpDon stated >>>
Holy crap, we found something else we can agree on. Are you feeling ok? When his captors learned who McCain was the offered to release him, he refused unless everyone captured before him was released. Well, you never asked me! |

voting for a libertarian is the only way to fix this country. i stand with rand as well as hes the only one who actually gives a damn about the constitution. im sure the media will do whatever they can to make him look bad, as they did his father. watch the youtube video "how the media cheated ron paul out of the presidency". Sorry but voting for a pu$$y is not the way to fix this county. haha coming from the person who just said Lpdon: I think Trump would make an amazing candidate and President. He has awesome stances on dealing with the economy, China, terrorism and foreign policy.
really? you think trump would make a good president, and Rand is a pu$$y. you have one of the most diluted minds i've ever come across. werent you the same person who REPEATEDLY said over and over "we dont need anymore 1 term senators" "we need someone with military experience" and yet you endorse Trump, who has neither. haha |

I'd say that eliminating super pacs is one way to begin fixing things. and get rid of lobbyists, something obarry said he was gunna do, but has more on his staff than any other president... |

For once I agree with this Governor on something!
|
|
|
|
No, what I said is we don't need another 1 term senator in the White House or any Senator. We need someone with Executive and preferably military experience.
|
|
|
|
If that were the case I would vote for Rand the loon if he got the nomination just because he has an R by his name, and I wouldn't so once again you make assumptions and your wrong.

noone is twisting your words around, you said it Yup, Donald Trump has Executive experience. He has beaten China, He has beaten Wall Street he is one of the most ruthless and successful business men in the world. |

"Donald Trump has Executive experience." Lp
I acknowledge his business experience. Didn't he have an Atlantic City casino that went bankrupt? How the &^%$ can a casino go bankrupt? "He has beaten China" Lp
My money's on China. "he is one of the most ruthless and successful business men in the world." Lp
Perhaps. He lacks presidential demeanor. He may be a dandy businessman and taxidermist (not exactly sure what species of critter that is he wears on his head), but I hope he never becomes U.S. president. |

He may be a dandy businessman and taxidermist (not exactly sure what species of critter that is he wears on his head), but I hope he never becomes U.S. president. Oh he has Executive experience, and a lot of it. Many large businesses go bankrupt and restructure, it can be a very smart and profitable business decision. BTW casinos file for bankruptcy all the time as a matter of fact one of the larges Gaming corporations in the world in in bankruptcy right now, Caesar's Entertainment which also owns Harrah's. I have also watched many come and go over the years large and small. It actually is a really risky business. If you had your money on China you would lose. The largest bank in China owned by the Government is headquartered in the Trump building and he beat them down on the price, he also owns one of the biggest foreign owned building and properties in China (which took serious negotiation, not many American's have property like that in Chine and actually I think Donald Trump is one of the only ones) where you guessed it businesses ran by the Chinese Government are headquartered. We have seen what happens when Congressmen and Senator's get elected to the White House, they F! everything up. People with executive experience live Governors, successful businessmen have been the best President's we have ever had. Really? Lack's Presidential Demeanor? I am afraid not, he has class and shows respect and will be tough when tough is needed. If you want to see someone who lacks Presidential demeanor look at the $hithead in the White House right now. |

I just hope when Ran loses the nomination he doesn't act like a baby and throw a temper tantrum like his looney father did.

"Oh he has Executive experience, and a lot of it." Lp
Senator Obama had virtually none; head of household; virtual zero. You and I are in accord Lp. IN GENERAL, executive experience should be a good thing. [1] But while it's a plus on any U.S. presidential candidate rsum, it is insufficient on its own. Before I'd consider voting Trump, I'd want to know his policy on: - closing Gitmo - how to deal with ISIL in particular, and Muslim terrorists - what he'd do to beef up our Glass - Steagel protections - & the Iraq War question that threw Jeb for a triple loop "Many large businesses go bankrupt and restructure, it can be a very smart and profitable business decision." Lp
Obviously. But when so many more do NOT; why should we think it's the guy whose business failed that we should pick for president, and not one of the many guys whose business thrive? "It actually is a really risky business." Lp
Sort of like voting for Trump. "If you had your money on China you would lose." Lp
No. "If YOU had YOUR money on China YOU would lose." I retired at age 43. The bad investments I've made are outnumbered by the successful investments I make. How old is Trump? 69? China has been around a whole lot longer than that. And China will STILL be around long after Trump is gone; will still be around, and growing stronger. If you can't see what spectacular progress China is making around the world, in territorial acquisition / creation, in mining contracts, in making friends abroad not with predator drone strikes, blowing up wedding parties; but building roads and digging potable water wells to help end the scourge of dysentery. The Soviet politburo was a bureaucracy so bloated, it bankrupted the Soviet Union; demonstrated "central planning" is no panacea. IIRC China's politburo has only 7 members. And China's 100 year plan seems to be right on schedule. "The largest bank in China owned by the Government is headquartered in the Trump building and he beat them down on the price" Lp
Spectacular. That's a heart-warming anecdote. But it does not accurately represent China's steady progress toward global domination; a virtual inevitability if present trends continue. "We have seen what happens when Congressmen and Senator's get elected to the White House, they F! everything up. People with executive experience live Governors, successful businessmen have been the best President's we have ever had." Lp
a) Please see point [1] above. b) Even if as a general rule you are right, the specifics can tell a quite different story. U.S. President Bush (younger) had significant executive experience, including CEO of Texas. Yet the 8 years of his presidency marked several superlatives in disaster: - the worst terrorist attack on the U.S. homeland in history - the worst economic decline since the great depression - losing 800K private sector jobs per month. - started TWO wars, and ending zero The Republican demigod's standard: "Are you better off ..."? With Bush, the Republican that had extensive executive experience, the answer is CERTAINLY NOT! With Obama, the Democrat with virtually no executive experience, by quantifiable standards, the answer is; clearly yes. |

He was initially against it. "Many large businesses go bankrupt and restructure, it can be a very smart and profitable business decision." Lp
Obviously. But when so many more do NOT; why should we think it's the guy whose business failed that we should pick for president, and not one of the many guys whose business thrive? Doesn't mean the business failed and if it did it shows putting up a fight to keep that business going and those employees working when he can just as easily cut bait. "It actually is a really risky business." Lp

Excellent! Which units? And what would we be quantifying? |
