Anybody else get into watching this competition? I love watching these athletes. There's a local guy who has excelled each year. Not sure if he's in the competition this year.

Last year it was amazing to see that 5' female compete in the final phase. How she pushed through I don't know what kind of strength it must have taken considering how her height was such a disadvantage.

I'm love'n that the 'NEWBIES' are KICK A$$ and qualifying --- EXCELLENT. All around...exciting show and that can't be said about much TV viewing nowadays!

Yeah, it's fun to see the newbies make it through. I love how they announcers talk about the veterans and all it takes is a second and the veterans are out. I think that's why it's so fun to watch. It's anybody's game to win.

Yup. lol My favorite so far: Hawaiian Surfer DUDE/Stewardess Extrodianaire - his dad's the ole' retired pro-NFL football player! Now he's a cutie and he's in the finals!

Former Tennessean/Hawaii guy isn't in the finals yet. There's I think 3 levels they have to make it through to get to the finals.

Doggonit. I wanted the Eskimo Ninja to make it through the hourglass.

I work in a care home and the UK version is on when I work Saturday lates. I can't comment on the US version but the UK one is garbage, its just loads of other game shows re-hashed such as gladiators, its a knockout etc.I usually have to take someone out Saturday evenings so fortunately I miss it and the rubbish that follows it namely Britain's got talent. CRINGE!!

There is great "eye candy". That's the plus in watching. It's just amazing to see these people and that is mostly men but there are some women. I can't believe what it must take physically to do some of these obstacles.

Don't know if they are the same obstacles as the UK version but a lot of them seem to keep falling in the water in our version?
